713 Restaurant is one of the city's sleekest, trendiest venues. Contemporary decor and large bar invite guests to settle in for both dining and extended social banter. Menu items range from economical five-course bento boxes to sushi to innovative entrees such as duck roulade with butternut mashed potatoes and pan fried veal chop schnitzel. Specialty thingytails also emphasize an Asian flair, including the 713 Martini with pickled ginger and green bean garnish, as well as the Saketine, with hot sake as the primary ingredient

I've been coming here about once a week for a few months. I was there this past Thursday for a quick meal but had such a good time that I stayed closed to 3 hours. Love the sushi! I think it's the best I've eaten in Houston. My waitress, Cathy, was very nice. I drive past at least three sushi restaurants when heading to 713 but it's worth it. I highly recommend this place. I do agree with the prvious person that they have a great happy prices on sushi but i do not think their regular pricing are more expensive than other sushi restaurant. I've eaten at two good sushi places in the rice village and their prices are more expensive.

I am avid sushi fan (3+ times a week) and was excited to see 713 near my apartment. We went to 713 with my girlfriend. Immediately upon entry, I was discouraged by the overall ambience, which tries to be trendy but fails. Still, as long as the sushi is good, I really don't care. We ordered drinks, appetizers and three different sushi combos. Our drinks never arrived despite the fact that we repeatedly reminded our waitress. The appetizer arrived after the first two sushi combos and the sushi combos themselves were below average quality. Specifically, their caterpillar roll was amongst the worst I had. Once we finally asked for the check, our waitress apologized for the drinks and offered us a dessert on the house but it was too late. 713 is a real good idea implemented real bad.

Americanized Japanese food. Jacked up the price for Caucasian. Good in decoration, not necessarily for quality of food.

More of a social place than a restaurant.

Bad experience here. The service was bad, the food was bad, the atmosphere was noisy and too dark.
