Texans News: Texans reach agreement with Mario Williams from NC State as the overall NFL 06 Draft #1 pick. What the F##K is going on here? Are the Texans a real football team? I can't believe this is happening? I guess they don't want anyone coming to their football games anymore.
I am still in shock and bewilderment! This is what happens when you have that Custerdly fellow running as the GM. What an idiot!!

No more Texans for me. I hope they lose so much money on their investments (dumb investments ) and have to sell the team to a smarter businessman. Of course, it still has to stay in Houston.

Here is my take.. Great players don't come out of a draft but every few years. This year is one of those years. You have a few great players in Bush, Young, Leinhart.
Now lets compare this to the NBA draft of 2003 where you had Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Carmello Anthony.
Remeber in the NBA draft, James went to Cleveland as the No.1 pick. Detroit picked up Darko Milic as the No.2 pick.
What I wanted to compare here is the NFL Houston Texans no.1 pick Mario Williams to Detroit Pistons no.2 pick in the NBA draft.
Do yall see a likeness here. The keyword is "bust" or "major foulup".
Everyone knows Reggie Bush is the best in the draft. Heck he is like the Lebron James in the 2003 NBA draft. So by skipping Bush for Williams, the Texans pretty much "fouled up" their chances of becoming anything.
Good job to the infamous genious GM Charley Casserly and Owner Bob McNair for keeping his man. Can we say, clank clank.

Here you go: Press has already the Texans Embrassment Bashing: from Chuck Klosterman of ESPN
"Yet the Texans have nonetheless convinced themselves that they will be better off selecting Mario Williams, the tall, speed-rushing defensive end from North Carolina State. I suspect Williams is potentially stellar. In time, he could be Pro Bowl caliber player. And the Texans' reasoning (I assume) is that (a) you build a team around defense and pass rushing; (b) they already have a decent running back; (c) Bush might be hyper-expensive; and (d) Reggie's parents appear to be living in a free house, which seems a tad sketchy. This is all fine and reasonable. The only problem is that Gary Kubiak has failed to weigh these points against the opposing argument, which is that REGGIE BUSH IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TACKLE. HE IS WAY, WAY BETTER THAN ALL OF THE OTHER DUDES WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE DRAFTED. WHEN REGGIE BUSH IS RUNNING WITH THE FOOTBALL, THOSE ATTEMPTING TO KNOCK HIM TO THE GROUND CANNOT SEEM TO DO SO. THIS QUALITY IS ADVANTAGEOUS WITHIN THE GAME OF FOOTBALL, AS THAT IS PRETTY MUCH THE TOTALITY OF THE SPORT.
Obviously, this decision is wolf-face crazy. It's the kind of decision you make when you are drunk, and on cocaine, and on deadline, and on fire. It's going to define the future of the Houston franchise, and it will potentially wreck it (at least for a decade)."

Again, this shows why we are the worst team in the NFL. Terrible judgement, terrible management.
