China Gourmet www.chinatownconnection.com/chinagourmet1.htm 9600 Bellaire Blvd. # 105 Houston, TX 77036 (next to Dynasty Supermarket) This was my first time eating here and wow what a neat experience. I love the atmosphere of this place. After visiting this website, I ventured down to China Gourmet and tried their Black Pepper Steak and boy was I pleased. It tasted great and unique. The restaurant was just how it was described here and there were a lot of people on the weekend. I highly recommend this place and Chinatown in general. It is a very neat place and experience.

For my fellow stinky tofu enthusiasts: I think this is the only place left in town that serves Ma La Chou Chou Guo (Spicy Stinky Tofu Pot)! And it is oh so stinky! (The stinkier the better!)

I tried this place last weekend and it is as good as the reviews on this website said. They have very good Taiwanese food and it does get a bit busy on the weekends. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Taiwanese food.

Their stinky tofu is the bomb! Seriously, those who love this dish will love their stinky tofu. Also try their black pepper steak served on sizzling iron plate.

Great food here. I had the sizzling steak on iron plate and it is very good. Love the sauce that goes on it. The only bad thing is that it does not sizzle anymore when served. I guess people got splattered drops on their shirts.

Very nice Taiwanese/Chinese food. Also I like their Boba milk tea, it is about twice as big for the same price.

They do have bubble tea, but only offer them in 2-3 kind of flavors. I think most people like the original milk tea anyway.

Ate here for the first time and I have to say their food is pretty authentic. I've always loved Taiwanese food and this place has it all.

Their food is awsome! however, the stinky tofu does not seem to be stinky enough for me ;D. Anyone feels the same?

The phrase stinky tofu pretty much turns most people off.. but I've had the balls to try it and it does not taste as bad as it sounds. In fact, its kinda like fried tofu, taste wise.
