With a hunger that needed to be satisfied and an open mind to try new things; we decided to visit 88 Noodle House (Chinese and Indonesian style cuisine). As we entered through the door, no one seated us. We promptly sat down, knowing full well that this was a normality at some restaurants. We were given menus pretty quickly, however, no one took our orders until at least ten minutes later. At that point, the service was deemed mediocre. After we ordered our food, another ten minutes passed and another waitress came to take our order...a simple mistake and yet it took them that long to come to a realization to try to take our orders for the "first time"? Mind you, the place was not packed and for the duration of our meal, they practically stood around doing nothing. Finally our meals came and the waitress, not knowing the first rules of service, promptly slammed the dishes onto our tables. This is not a good impression upon customers; I assume that people prefer to have their meals delivered without an added unnerving sound effect. After we ate the food, which was average to below average; the noodles were bland, the beef satays were charred, and the dumplings tasted as if they were defrosted from a bag, we asked for the check which totaled around 17 dollars--one word: overpriced.
Conclusion: Service 2/10 Food 6/10 Price 4/10 I will not go back.
