Hi All,
I relocated from NJ/NY area in Oct. So far I haven't seen a good Shanghainese restaurant in Houston area. Is there a true authentic Shanghainese restaurant with good soup buns and slightly sweet dishes?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried Shanghai restaurant yet but I got one of their menu and thought it was more cantonese than shanghainese. Can anyone confirm if they are authentic Shangainese?
THanks!

Have you tried Yao's heard it is a bit pricey however the menu seems to be what would be traditional Shanghai food. I have been yet I planned to before the new year or on.

Yao Restuarant is TRUE American Chinese Food. Actually the taste is not bad. As far as I know, I am not able to find a good Shanghainese food restaurant in Houston. The best one closed down long long time ago.
