Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle Restaurant www.chinatownconnection.com/aychungflour1.htm9338 Bellaire Blvd. Houston, TX 77036 This place has one of the best beef noodle soup I have ever tasted. The soup is made to perfection, the beef is so tender, and the noodles, oh the noodles is so good. Price is reasonable but the food is exceptional. Another dish I would recommend is the Fried Crispy Chicken. This is my favorite dish everywhere but I love it here the most. I would recommend this place to anyone who want a traditional Taiwanese meal or just want to try something new.

My advice to vegetarians about this restaurant: not much can be had here in terms of vegetarian fare. They were accomodating, however the portion was small and a little pricy and nothing special.

However, disregarding their prices, they have good Taiwanese food. If you like Taiwanese food, this is a good place to try.

I have heard good and bad things about them.
The good: Very decent Taiwanese food. They are famous for their noodles.
The bad: Portion is too small and a little overpriced.
In my opinion, they are a good place for Taiwanese food. Yeah we all have come to terms of cheap eats in Chinatown but hey this place is still cheaper than your ordinary Asian American diner like Pei Wei, General Joes Chopstix and the likes.

I can't believe they had to shut down in Houston.. Guess too much competition or something. I love their food!!

The new restaurant is called "Taiwan Potato". I have been going there for weeks now. I like their lunch boxes and boba tea. They also sell fresh made taiwanese snacks as well. Check it out
