This place is terrible! Bad service, expensive, loud. With so many other choices around here, go elsewhere.

I disagree about the food part. Their food is not bad. Service is typical of a Chinese restaurant but it does get loud and flea market like at times.

I came to this place last week, the first time, and kinda like the place. The food was not bad, a bit pricy in the Chinatown area in my opinion, but not bad. Atmosphere is good. Very large restaurant so it does accomodate a lot of people thus some of your comments "flea market" atmosphere. Overall I like this place as well.

I must respectfully disagree with all the comments on the merits of Sinh Sinh. I grew up in Houston and have been familiar with this restaurant since its first incarnation on Fondren nearly 30 years ago. The current owner (the founder's son) went to high school with my sister. Its quality has consistently gone down while its prices have gone consistently up. It's well-known in Houston because it was one of the first but doesn't even come close to being the best by a long shot. After my last experience there, I have decided never to return

My first impression of this place was nice restaurant. After eating there, my impression turned to my gosh, what a disappointment. Food was too bland, not traditional. Service was mediocre. Atmosphere was ok. I thought this place would be more classy and serve good food.
